Payment ProcessingFizetésfeldolgozási Tájékoztató

How payment authorization, deposit workflows, capture, refunds, and payment disputes interact with Depoflow and third-party payment providers.

Version
2.4 · September 2026

This page is a draft template, not finished legal copy. It hasn’t been reviewed by a lawyer, and Depoflow handles card holds and deposit payments — that puts it in real regulatory territory (GDPR, payment processing rules, consumer protection law). Have this reviewed by qualified counsel, and fill in the bracketed details with your actual company information, before publishing it live.

Pre-publication notice

This document is a legal drafting template. Before publication, Depoflow should verify the actual Stripe account structure, payment flows, authorization and capture configuration, pricing, fees, and applicable contractual arrangements with qualified Hungarian legal counsel.

A jelen fizetésfeldolgozási tájékoztató jogi tervezet. A közzététel előtt össze kell vetni a tényleges Stripe konstrukcióval, fizetési folyamatokkal, díjakkal és szerződéses feltételekkel.

1. Who Processes Payments

Ki dolgozza fel a fizetéseket?

Depoflow is a software platform that provides technical functionality for configuring and managing payment-related workflows. Depoflow is not a bank, card issuer, acquiring bank, or payment institution.

Payment processing functionality is provided through third-party payment service providers, including Stripe, subject to their respective terms, policies, and technical capabilities.

Depoflow is designed not to receive or store full payment-card numbers or CVV security codes. Payment-card information is handled by the applicable payment provider.

2. What Is a Payment Authorization?

Mi a fizetési engedélyezés?

A card authorization is a request to verify that a specified amount may be authorized against a payment method. An authorization is not necessarily a completed charge.

When an authorization is successfully approved, the amount may be temporarily reserved against the End Client's available credit or funds. The authorization itself does not mean that Depoflow has received or holds those funds.

3. How Depoflow's Deposit Workflow Operates

A Depoflow letéti folyamata

01

Booking

The End Client makes an appointment or booking with the Merchant.

02

Deposit Terms

The Merchant presents applicable deposit, cancellation, and no-show terms to the End Client.

03

Authorization

The payment provider requests authorization for the configured amount where supported.

04

Authorization Result

The relevant payment provider, issuer, and payment network determine whether the authorization succeeds.

05

Booking Event

The appointment proceeds, is cancelled, or results in another outcome governed by the Merchant's policy.

06

Capture or Release

Where technically supported and legally appropriate, the relevant payment workflow may result in capture, expiration, or release.

4. Capture of an Authorization

Az engedélyezett összeg terhelése

Where supported, the Merchant may request capture of some or all of an authorized amount. Capture is subject to the applicable payment provider rules, authorization validity, card-network requirements, and other applicable restrictions. Depoflow does not independently determine whether a Merchant is entitled to capture funds.

5. Release and Expiration

Az engedélyezés feloldása és lejárata

A payment authorization may expire, be released, or otherwise become unavailable for capture without a completed charge. The applicable validity period and behavior depend on factors including the payment method, card network, transaction type, payment provider, and applicable configuration. Merchants should therefore design their cancellation policies with these limitations in mind.

6. Merchant Responsibility for Deposit Policies

A kereskedő felelőssége

The Merchant remains solely responsible for ensuring that its deposit, cancellation, refund, and no-show policies are legally valid, clearly communicated, and compliant with applicable consumer protection and sector-specific requirements.

8. Stripe and Third-Party Payment Services

Stripe és harmadik fél szolgáltatások

Stripe and other third-party payment providers operate independently from Depoflow. Depoflow does not control card-network rules, issuer decisions, authorization decisions, fraud screening, account restrictions, or other actions taken by third-party payment providers.

9. Payment Failures

Sikertelen fizetések

Authorizations or captures may fail for reasons including insufficient funds, issuer refusals, expired authorizations, payment-method restrictions, fraud or risk controls, technical failures, or other circumstances outside Depoflow's control. Depoflow does not guarantee successful transaction execution.

10. Refunds

Visszatérítések

Where available, refunds are processed through the applicable payment provider. The Merchant remains responsible for determining whether a refund is appropriate. Processing time may depend on the payment provider, card network, issuing institution, and payment method.

11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Chargebackek és viták

Depoflow may compile Evidence Dossiers containing relevant booking information, timestamps, policy acceptance records, and payment events to assist Merchants in responding to payment disputes. An Evidence Dossier is an evidentiary assistance tool and does not guarantee a successful dispute outcome or reversal of a chargeback.

12. Chargeback Liability

Chargebackekkel kapcsolatos felelősség

Depoflow is not responsible for issuer decisions, payment-provider determinations, chargeback reversals, disputed funds, or other financial outcomes determined by parties involved in the payment process, subject to any mandatory liability imposed by applicable law.

13. Fees

Díjak

Depoflow subscription fees are separate from third-party payment processing fees unless expressly stated otherwise in the applicable pricing or commercial documentation. Third-party providers may apply their own fees under their respective agreements.

14. Payment Security

Fizetésbiztonság

Payment-card information is handled through the applicable payment provider's systems. Customers must not submit raw card numbers, CVV codes, or other sensitive payment credentials through Depoflow support channels, booking notes, or other fields not specifically designed for payment information.

15. No Guarantee of Payment Availability

Az elérhetőségre vonatkozó garancia hiánya

Depoflow does not guarantee uninterrupted payment processing, authorization approval, capture availability, or continuous availability of any particular payment method or payment network.

16. Regulatory Status

Szabályozási státusz

Depoflow operates as a software provider and does not independently provide regulated banking, deposit-taking, card-acquiring, or payment services. Regulated payment services are provided by the applicable third-party payment providers.

17. Merchant Compliance

Kereskedői jogszabályi megfelelés

Merchants are solely responsible for complying with applicable consumer-protection, tax, payment, contractual, privacy, and sector-specific requirements relating to their services and payment policies.

18. Third-Party Outages

Harmadik fél kiesése

Depoflow is not responsible for interruptions caused by third-party payment-provider outages, API failures, network disruptions, issuer systems, card-network restrictions, or other circumstances outside its reasonable control.

19. Information for End Clients

Információk végfelhasználóknak

End Clients should direct questions regarding booked services, cancellation policies, refunds, and the Merchant's contractual terms to the relevant Merchant. Depoflow provides the software infrastructure and is generally not the party responsible for the underlying service purchased by the End Client.
